My name is Cheri Kramer. I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I
married a native Savannah boy, Andy Kramer, and now proudly call Savannah home.
We have 3 grown children and one son-in-law.
From the time I was 7 years old, “teaching” all of my stuffed animals and dolls, I knew I was going to be a teacher. I loved reading books, blowing bubbles, and drawing pictures with my little cousins. Babysitting was my favorite job.
I graduated magnum cum laude from Towson State University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. Once my 3 children were in school, I received my preschool special education endorsement from Armstrong. I earned my Masters in Education at Cambridge College in Massachusetts, where I gave the Valedictorian graduation speech.
I have been the community based Preschool Intervention Teacher at Isle of Hope Elem. for 20 years. I believe early intervention is the key to having each child reach his full potential and be integrated with his typical peers.
